Little treasures from our yard

We've been enjoying our backyard a lot these warm sunny days. The girls have been finding cute bugs and bumpy toads. We've also been thrilled to see the seeds we planted in spring bringing forth beautiful flowers. They especially like the flowerpots on the back deck because they each have their own pot they planted in. They water them each day and love being rewarded with colorful flowers.
Here is a little inchworm we found. He joined us for lunch on Thursday and was nearly lost in the house, but he was safely returned outside.
And this poor toad - he also managed to return to his home safely, although it looks here like he was nearly being squeezed to death.
We have 4 little green tomatoes now. I can't wait to taste them.
And lastly Chloe's little "wild flower"......she came to tell me there was a wild flower in her flowerpot. When I came to see it she said, "Get it? It's not a wildflower, but it's a WILD flower!" And it is a bit wild. It looks like it was painted white. It makes me marvel once again at God's imagination.
